The best weight loss program you can be on is to do all the healthful things you can do and avoid all the unhealthful things you can avoid, this will give you your best chance possible of going to your optimum weight and staying there. Eat a healthy amount of healthful food, avoid unhealthful food. Drink only healthy fluids such as antioxidant water and fresh squeezed juices, exercise, eat small healthy meals and small healthy snacks frequently, keep a positive mental attitude, get enough sleep, avoid pollution and poisons, and find out what other things are negatively affecting your weight loss and correct them. People who do this in an optimum way, can eat good amounts of delicious food and still lose weight, that way they can stay on the diet and stay healthy and slim.

Most diets are so extreme that when the person is through with the diet, they overeat and gain more weight than they lost, or maybe something in the diet, or some chemical they are taking, is causing an artificial boost of metabolism. In this case, when the diet is over, the metabolism has been overworked and then goes into a resting state, actually lower than it was before, thus, the person regains the lost weight and more, very quickly because they are not metabolizing calories as fast as they were before they went on the diet.

Eating junk food, as with almost anything you do which is unhealthy, can cause a large number of chain reactions and vicious circles. Junk food irritates the pancreas, which can cause it to over secrete insulin, which can cause hypoglycemia or low blood sugar. When you have hypoglycemia, when you eat your body stores more of the food you eat as fat. Low blood sugar can lower your body metabolism. Low blood sugar can make you very hungry and can make you crave more junk food, which could cause a vicious circle; the more junk food you eat, the more hungry you are and the more you crave junk food, therefore you eat more junk food. Low blood sugar can cause over 100 other symptoms, some of which include moodiness, depression, irritability, tiredness, headaches, neck pain, back pain, dizziness, fainting, nausea, etc. Low blood sugar can make the symptoms you already have worse. The symptoms low blood sugar causes and increased severity of symptoms you already have that is caused by low blood sugar can make it much harder for you to stay on a diet. Eating junk food could lead to improper digestion, causing the food to spoil in the intestines, causing a backup of toxic fluid in the body, which causes weight gain from the weight of this excess fluid, which also poisons every organ, tissue and cell in the body, lowering its metabolism and if that particular organ has to do with the cleaning the toxins out of the body, it could make it malfunction, which could cause more of a toxic fluid backup in the body, causing more weight gain and further poisoning every other organ, tissue and cell in the body, causing a vicious circle.

Pinched nerves can also slow down the function of the organs. According to Dr. Su, a Ph.D. who did studies on nerve conductivity at the University of Colorado, the pressure of a feather on a nerve can cause a 50% decrease in action potential of the nerve. The pressure of a dime can cause a 70% decrease of action potential of the nerve. If these nerves are going to the organs, pressure from these pinched nerves can cause a lowering of metabolism, also if pinched nerves are going to the organs that clean toxins out of the body, this can cause them to malfunction, resulting in more toxic fluid in the body. This can cause fluid weight gain and the increase of toxins in every organ, tissue and cell in the body, which can cause them to malfunction and decrease their metabolism and/or ability to clean toxins out of the body and can cause more pinched nerves, making a vicious circle. The more toxins and pinched nerves the body accumulates, the more impaired are its functions, and the more impaired are its functions, the more pinched nerves and toxins the body accumulates, etc.

How much you eat and exercise are very important, however, there are a large number things that deal with weight loss, more than just eating and exercising.
